It was a wonderful and very professional experience. A strong trailer
with Ms. Lauper's wonderfully composed and sung "Heart and Soul" song for the film can be heard and viewed on the You Tube site link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCKGt7h3gSU .
KinoKamera Productions' George Lekovic (Polycarp with Charles Durning) and Darka Lungulova had a preliminary screening in the May 2008 Cannes Film Festival as a Serbian Special Presentation. Pa'lante!
*Other recent film projects includes Mulberry Street www.mulberrystreetmovie.com which just screened on the Sci-Fi channel Oct.11th , as part of the 31 Days of Halloween. The dvd was released 3/08/08 by Lionsgate's 8 Films To Die For series: (Belladonna Prods.,
Jim Mickle-Director/Linda Moran Producer). It was the opening film in Nov. 07's Toronto After Dark Films' Horrorfest where it won 1st prize for a feature and screened nationally is select movie theaters for two weeks in Nov. 07's After Dark Films Horror Film Fest Tour. Antone sent cast, crew and the audience well wishes for the Toronto screening Gala and stayed in NYC for a positive and uplifting interview for Revolucion Latina-
"Revolucion Latina & the Power of Antone Pagan". It can be seen on the You Tube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC9xRunAahg . This interview is conducted by a fellow Boriqua (Puerto Rican-dance teacher/dancer/choreographer) Luis Salgado, who is currently enjoying the success of The Broadway Latino Musical, In The Heights. This show is more uplifting and represents more realistic Latinos living, dancing, playing, fighting, loving together within the sruggles of life, but on a positive tip, unlike 'psuedo' Latino characters in "West Side Story" and "Capeman" which do not nor never will capture the "Boriqua/Puerto Rican Essence! It is long overdue time for a change! May "In the Heights" do well...and..(an update).. it is doing so!
